Well my Autosport tickets have arrived via Tony Palfrey of Maxi Motorsport / Satchel fame .

I decided this is what I really need (now)

1...DTA S100 to replace my S40 ( selling S40 )
2..newer Sandy engine loom to fit above (selling old one )
3..new car loom (do myself )
4..update Roll cage ( do myself )
5...electric power steering column (sold one already ) Thumbs down
6...going more aggressive rear camber 2.5 ( Bridgecraft Enginnering to replace mine now which is wide track Bridgecraft )...will be selling my arms ...

1...soon 6-12 months
Going full paddle shift and keeping gearstick also ...that means a compressor and tank to fit

I really do think I’m close to where I really want it then
I’ve still got the DTA dash to fit but hopefully all ready for testing April next year Thumbs up

I've exhibited at both. ASI is a shadow of it's former self. The trade element I don't think is as good as it has been in previous years but the footfall over the weekend is busy. The 'deals' aren't quite as good as they used to be.

MSD Live is completely different. It's marketed as a trade exhibition but with tracktime. The three halls at Silverstone probably cover less that one hall at the NEC, of which there are three plus the indoor arena.

Hi Chris
I think once you’ve been 2-3 time’s it gets a little boring...Autosport has far too many Renpar shoe shine booths so and massage head prongs Booths for my liking ....
Times are getting tough and as I’m
Sure you know well Booths and area is crazy money up there Thumbs down

I’m removing my dash soon to rewire everything and remove my standard clocks etc as I have a DTA digital dash ...so I will have to blank the hole ..

At the same time I’ll up rate the cage under the dash possible sending it to the strut tops and I’m removing the heated windscreen and putting a standard one back in ...

I’ll be looking at Electric power steering options at Autosport also ...I’m not going Corsa B/C I’m going to fit a bespoke one ...I’ve seen a Irish company that makes a amazing item ...we will see ...but I need electric power steering again Whistle

How come you're removing the heated screen? Half my elements gave up in mine after a year or two so i just disconnected it but left it in.

Keep us posted on the electric power steering too, my electric/hydraulic unit is becoming an inconvenience when i want to work on mine sometimes so i'm considering going down either the corsa route or whatever you find. Mine is way too much hard work to drive without some form of assistance.

Steve remember I do Glass for a living ...so it won’t cost me anything to remove ...I don’t use it and it takes 40amps and I only run a 40amp Altenator....and if I’m going power steering again that will draw loads too ...

I will do ...I sold my Corsa power steering to Chris Lapit who then sold it to Mike Bland on here ...they are good but I’ve found a chap who does amazing stuff ...sadly not cheap ...

After Autosport next Thursday it’s full steam ahead on my car ...I’ve got 95% of the items ready to fit ...ok I want a DTA s100 instead of my s40 and that will need a complete new loom ...

Also Sandys coming to mine to add wires to my Sandy engine loom for the Sequencial box and while he’s here I’ll take the Engine out and he wants to do the CAMBELT / Waterpump / pulley / etc ...it makes the trip worthwhile for him and me Thumbs up

Here below are a few more pics of me playing with the suspension height before driveshafts and new again Calipers are fitted ...
