Blimey Hello Stranger Thumbs up

Your so so right meirion.....I’m also thinking....it’s going to be such a shame when finished not to race it .....

Any suggestions what I could race it in though ?
Lots of the stuff ....doors etc exempt it from lots of classes ...Thumbs down

————————

I’ve got to do another full loom strip inside the car and possibly fit similar Cartex centre console setup same / similar to Ryan Eninion?
Mines still working off the original key ..

Spoke to Sandy yesterday and he can modify his engine loom easy to come inside off the keypad rather than it is now going into the original inner wing loom ...

That’s the next job ....

I no longer use anything off the standard dash ...other than indicators or lights /high beam ...even speedos going GPS

My Clocks aren’t really used any longer Mike ...apart from info of indicators and head light beam ...I have all individual clocks for there info nowThumbs up

Silly me buying something like a £1400 DTA GPS dash or something cheaper now .....I have all the same info I need on Stack separate clocks and now that I don’t use my standard clocks anymore I may just blank it after my rewire and put a GPS speedo / timer in its place ....

100% it would of been easier going digital dash and cheaper but I’m where I’m at now LOL

I do like the separate clocks though and my stack ones are the pro digital ones that you set up and change colour if there’s a problem and they hold the info even when turned of .

LOL
I do laugh when I see them Marcellus ....360mm

I’m hoping with my Servo removed and my brake Cooling ducts blocked I’ll be able to get them warm enough to bed in let alone use and abuse ....Castle Combe on shake down /test day this Jan was bitter cold and I couldn’t get them hot enough to work 100%...I’m going to now try and block the front bumper brake cooling ducts as I’ve already said and see what happens Thumbs up

Where did you get your surround from? After killing a window with a fuel leak thinking it may be a good idea lol

Yet another small update

Sorting out my throttle and linkage today ....simple cable and it can be replaced in minutes if need be ....

Support Bracket made inside made of alloy then bent and used expoxy resin to support and strengthen corners ...then painted used a old Shimano brake cable adjuster inside the car and also have one by the Jenvey linkage under the bonnet

Set everything so Jenvey are fully open and pedal stops not to put any unwanted pressure on the cable ..

The cable is a Shimano MTB cable with the PTFE liner so super smooth.

Just keep a regular eye on the throttle cable. I used one from a bike on mine and over time it frayed until one day when it snapped and jammed the throttle wide open. Not ideal half way round Schwedenkreuz on the Nurburgring! Doh Laugh
