That radiator does look good, might have to look into one for mine, I was struggling with coolant temps at the 'ring last week, although the ambient air was around 30c which didn't help.Did it require the slam panel to be cut to fit or did you cut that for other reasons? ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Tell me about it, I only have an intercooler to contend with, but I'm thinking about down-sizing that to aid the radiator a bit too.________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

I use a s14 ally race rad but it would be no good with itb as the header tank sits higher than the slam pannel.________________________________________ |

Did it require the slam panel to be cut to fit or did you cut that for other reasons? No didnt need to cut it out for this radiator.... I cut away the slam panel when I had my old Stnds engine on Satchell inlet with 45mm Jenveys with8 injectors...the slam panel was smack bangin the middle of the air filter.....so I just reinforced each corner & cut it out & tidied it up & filled the hollow steel section It does help massively with this engine more so ... |

Have a Look at my thread I've got pics of how I've braced each side before cutting it out & how I modified the area to fit this Rad I'm modifying behind on the inside of the 50mm fibreglass bumper with bonded on side air ducts ....to direct as much air as possible into the Radiator & oil cooler ...similar to what Mei was taking about ....I'm fitting it to the quick release 50mm bumper so when removed it gives me more room to work |

Right Mr Bland ...not sprayed yet but this should give you a ideal ...trust me I've tried it & you can't tell the difference from inside or out apart from it's not Silver OTT ...on the bolts as I've got air scoops & the scratch resistant Polycarb that helps to strengthen the whole door up ...trust me it works even though it weighs a little more Day666 has attached the following image: |
