A word of warning about the F2000 spoilers, they are crazy draggy. It took about 5mph off my top speed at Snetterton! My one isn't fitted to the car if you wanted to test it out after November (final race of the year)

Yes ....that maybe a great idea Dan...did it make a noticeable difference on handling Dan & was it strong enough ?...I was told they arnt made that great ?....any issues or is it all bulls**t Whistle

I'm running plenty of power / torque (hopefully) to make up for the drag m8 ...I 100% need some sort of spoiler Dan

That's not the problem Chris Thumbs up

The car was great before I changed the tailgate to Twinskin Fibreglass & NEVER fitted the standard spoiler ....noticed a big difference at speed & Corning m8 ...

People may say Rubbish ...how can that little spoiler make a difference...it does at speed on long fast bends ....

It did, helped the back feel more planted. I don't run it at all really now though as I already struggle with straight line speed and don't need to lose any more!

Only times I use it are in the wet so I can push harder around high speed corners

Don't get me wrong Chris ....mine does BUT not as good as it did with the little spoiler fitted LOL
Do you have one fitted ?
I've changed nothing apart from a little weight saving ...not much LOL
Take it off & you will see what I'm saying

Dan ...Did yours stay together ok ....?

Buy direct from mcracing they speak English I bought mine from them via email.
Have you had your car on a set of tracking gauges? Might be worth doing.

Yes Stef ....all setup 100% m8 ...the cars not changed we checked everything inc heat of the tyres & tyre pressures ..all I'm saying is I can notice loads with the difference without the standard tailgate spoiler ...but we are talking 125-129 round A bumpy bend at Castle Combe it's only at extreme speed you feel you need the rear planted more .....100% want it more planted than it ever has been to push it slightly faster Thumbs up
Would love to try a F2000

The car has it but the driver needs more rear end downforce to give me more confidence Thumbs up
I'm more than happy but as always I know there's more From the car 👍

Mine has come apart a little bit, one of the threads inside the wing plane that the sides bolt on to has worked loose. Not massively bothered, I'll just bond it back in again.

I've been playing around with aero a lot this year, with the splitter and the wing. I'm still trying to get the most out of the splitter, the first time I ran it it made the front so pointy then afterwards it's had less of an impact. Still trying to figure it out!

Im looking at making a complete front end undertray incorperating a splitter then same at the rear with a diffuser. The middle of the car is fairly flat tbh.

That's because it isn't a spoiler, it is a wing.

I think the wing looks epic, just a shame I can't run it more often! You might be alright as you have quite a bit more power than me though

Two cans of expanding foam pumped in between the two skins of the fibreglass bonnet & white Polyurethane used to smooth off & bond under the lip of the bonnet from one side to the other .....

Going to Forge Action day tomorrow at Combe so I'll give it a good try if the rain stays off ?

Removed the Aero catches & pumped in expanding foam & smoothed off when dry around the inside to allow the Catches to be refitted ...
Feels 100% stiffer across & when shutting the bonnet now ...fingers crossed Whistle

Bonnet was great at Forge Action day @ Castle Combe yesterday ...doesn't flex at the front now & the car was The best it's ever been ...it was flying around & at one dryish session out of 3 had 4-6 laps clear ish with no idiots & left a regular guy in a blue Clio with Pure motorsport bits for dust & he's one of the most impressive cars always there & he just couldnt live with the 6 ....he was shocked how quick the 6 is now ...having never been on the track together since my engine has been fitted Thumbs up

So I'm one very happy owner & nothing I went out against including silly power Scoobies & Evos & new Hondas & golfs / Focus gave me any problems Thumbs up
