Hi all, as above in need of a tailgate lock mechanism, the black plastic part with the lion and tailgate release button. mine keeps sticking and am fed up with it. It's for a Rallye, does not have a slot for a key and Pug part number is 8726 L3. Not too bothered about cosmetic condition as have a new Lion badge for it but it must be OK other than that ie. not sticking.

Prob going to need it posted too as I am a lazy bugger.

Tried that mate. It's not just sticky it jams solid and won't budge even if you try to force it shut from inside the tailgate.

Boot is currently tied shut
