out of interest what does this conversion entail, eg mounts etc? is it just like doing any XU swap, eg 205 gti6? what's required? mounts all the same? wiring on par with wiring say the 205 gti engine/double plug loom to the 306 engine loom?

Engine is a direct swap straight into the Berlingo counts but I had group N mounts on the Rallye so fitted them on the van along with the Rallye gearbox support bracket.
Exhaust needed extending at the back of the middle section where it joking the back box about 2-3"
As for wiring I have no idea what there like to splice and match as I removed the whole wiring front to back out of the van and replaced it all with the Rallye wiring, engine, chassis, dash, rear lights. I just had to chop the loom for the front and back lights and match them to fruit the Berlingo lights.
Had to fit lift up reverse cable, Rallye clutch and throttle cables
Fitted the shafts and wishbones off the Rallye as there around an inch wider on the ball joints not the wishbones other than that that's pretty much it I think?

How come? Just a dark flat grey then? I quite fancy having it grey. Do like the Rallye badges tho, might have to call it a Berlingo Rallye Cool

Yeah looks better red Laugh my ass off

Had to change the alternator tonight as the other one packed in this morning on my way to work, swapped the ICV too as at low revs it seems to bog down as if it's about to cut out then kick back into life, also when it on idle it seem to be struggling to breath too. The ICV did Jake s**t, still doing it, next to try the map sensor.
Got some pug racing linkages on the way of welshpug and a GE short shift I'm picking up at the weekend.
Having an issue sorting the lift reverse cable up tho, I swapped the gear stick and selector off the Rallye onto the van and just seems as if the lift reverse cable is just too short so when I clip it onto the gearstick it seems to stretch the cable open so I can select reverse without lifting up.

Here's a better pic of the air box Dan. Not sure if I'm keeping it there with ducts to the front or weather I'm going to put it down behind the rad like standard

Yeah that's true like, windy Windows and no A/C. Suppose it is just a poverty spec van at the day, all I need to do is add some £35 stickers and change it to a Rallye on the logbook. Seems legit to me LOL

Thanks, had them on the Rallye so thought I may as well make good use of them. Just need some new headlights now as I smashed one of them trying to get it apart to paint

Well I can either get 2 2nd hand valet lights for £20 or 2 brand new depo lights for £55. How much can you do me some Valero lights then? Cheaper than I can buy 2 depo lights? LOL

Not much been going on apart from had my mate wash polish and wax the van at the weekend and he done an awesome job, came out a whole load better than i was expecting Big grin
Fitted my short shift and pug racing alloy gear linkages turned up today just waiting on clips coming so i can get them fitted too. Order some ducting hose today for the air box so i can run a cold air feed from the front of the car into the air box too. Just need to sort 2 new tires and its booked in for its MOT on Monday. Oh and i also fitted some new front lights.
