Anyone know of an adapter for these, or how to rewire them?

Lexus light plug and wires

Stock rear cables, phase three.

You can buy link looms for Lexus lights if you insist on fitting the awful looking things.

hahaha, its more a safety thing, i found the OEM ones either as they are or by age are too dark,
and i have had people complain that it is hard to see me.

and i got the lexus lights for $40.

When's the body kit going on?

Must be something up with yours if they're too dim. Nice and bright when working correctly.

If your rear lights are too dim something is probably wrong.

New Zealand!!!! good to sea someone else down here in the southern hemisphere.

they work "fine" i think it is just the bulbs getting old, i'll either steal them from the lexus lights,
or this week or next do up some wiring ideas to just cut them and re do it for the new lights.

Start with cleaning any dirt out of light housings and checking/cleaning connections and bulb holders as well as cleaning and re-securing earth points. Renewing wiring to earth points with thicker wire will also help, as wiring resistance increases with age and corrosion causing voltage drop and dimmer lights. Renewing bulbs with LED bulbs might help too - they have lower current draw than standard bulbs.

Those Lexus lights look awful and won't address above problems, I'd stick with standard lights.
