Hey guys,
I've been looking for some time now information on constant 12+ (or keep alive memory) in ECU,particularly what pin does it come in trought at 19 or 8 pin connector in engine harness. Also I'd like to know which pin in engine harness connector is powering A/C compressor.
Also I found brake down on 19 pin connector but not one on 8pin. I need it for emissions purpose here in US as I need to run OBD II plug as well.
For example DSM-EVO OBD II ECU's here in states have constant 12+ at pin 12,25 and pin 80 which is shared with OBD II port at pin 16.

This link is very helpful, however when using CC1 and 123 wire to switch live ECU loses all of the memory when switched back too off. I haven't seen any information on keep alive memory or constant 12+

Thanks in advance.

This information is needed for GTI6 ECU-wire harness.

Hey mate, as a side question, have you managed to get an OBD II tool to work?
i am really interested in getting a Bluetooth OBD tool to work on the 306,
i looked into that ages ago and gave up.

gti6 was not obdII, you need Peugeot planet to get anything that makes sense from them, some generic readers may give a code but it wont be anything to do with an actual fault I.m.e.

Not yet but hopefully in few days. When I swapped my MI16 to ECMlink it was very simple and this one looks just as easy.
This is how easy was on my MI16.
Pin 1 Yellow to ECU pin 56 (Diagnostic Mode)
Pin 4 Black to Ground #5
Pin 5 Black/White to Ground #5
Pin 7 Pink to ECU pin 62 (Diagnostic K-Line)
Pin 14 Yellow/White to ECU pin 86 (Vehicle Speed Sensor) (ignition live)
Pin 16 Red/Black to ECU pin 80 (Backup +12v Power)

Once it's done I'll make a write up and share it with you guys.

Generic reader will do just fine as emission test will be perfomed as OBD I vehicle.

Would you have brake down info on 8 pin engine harness connector like 19 pin in my first post by any chance?

Thanks for responding.

1996 and up vehicles required two speed rolling dyno emissions test and OBD II system check. That OBD II check consists of making sure there is no faults code present and readiness monitors are ready.
O yeah a check engine light bulb must function as well.

I don't see 8 pin plug to be listed above...

I use my multimeter today and found A/C fan control and A/C compressor wires. I haven't had time or need too chase other five wires as A/C control was the one I was after.

I don't have time to create nicer diagram but this will do. I'm glad to share this with you folks and hopefully it helps someone out in future.
