Anyone got a flocked dash? Heard mixed opinions aboit what's the best way to get it done. Some people say to remove all the leather from the front of the dash before getting it done so it's bare plastic as the glue starts lifting off the leather after a while and other say it's best to keep the leather on?
Any thoughts on this?

Its a really hard thing to do well and you get flock bloody everywhere.
The dash I had didn't have any leather. Its not pretty at all (second go as well) but it works

Laugh my ass off I won't be doing it myself, will be sending it off to get done, just trying to get it all ready for sending off, just trying to find out if it's better with the leather on or off?

By mistake I found out That.... 3Gan on here LEE Egan from Bristol surprise surprise who doesn't offer his skills on here .....but does Flocking for Honda Swindon Race team & many others !

He does do flocking outside work but is a busy lad ....he did my Dash/centre console /dial surround/ glovebox / airbag cover now another glove box & steering colum surrounds & said leave the leatherette on ...

It may be worth messaging him as he's top top end Quality & good price I thought ...

I didn't want normal black so he mixed me up a Dark grey cool which looks amazing ...

Does look good that. Not too bothered about glove boxes as there going to be blanked off, along with air vents and facia, possibly just get all blanks fitted and flock the whole thing

I'm thinking of getting mine flocked as well, like the look and it should look nice on the race car. Would prefer to cover it in Alcantara though!

those relays are long gone now. i made a new fuse/relay panel that fits on the bottom part of the dash.
