Hi guys i have a knocking coming from my front right hub assembly or suspension
All runs fine no noises till breaking then i get a substantial knock from the front as the brake releases have just replaced the front shock and spring and drop link
Would this be likely that i have damaged the ball joint didnt disconnect it when fitting just compressed the old spring in situe to remove then jacked under it to wiggle in the new strut it seems solid as does everything else bit stumped

Check the tightness of the bolts holding the caliper to the hub assembly.

Could well be the caliper was giving it a good old wiggle when installing the shock will check tonight any other possibilities
