Hi, i have a little problem, when I start the engine in the morning or the engine is cold the car stars normal but when I drive it and gets hot, the next start always make the engine to get high rpm's like 3000 and more and then drop to a normal idle.
Any idea what to check?
My 306 has the low boost Lynx kit with a large intercooler and lightened flywheel. I have changed the map sensor, icv and new injectors.
Best regards
Hugo

Mine revs itself up to about 3k every time you start it and drops to normal idle. Always has done. No fault codes or dodgy sensors. Running very large intercooler so I suspect as it's full of air it allows the car to rev when first started until the engine hits vacuum

How long does it idle that high for? It won't be the intercooler - possibly an air leak.
