Chris isn't an engine like that going to need what was optimistic entitled a 'refresh' every 800km or something daft? I don't think they were built with anything more than a couple of race weekends in mind.
I don't want to p**s on your chips but surely it's just an expensive grenade?

It's ok mate, I know what you're getting at. After speaking with numerous people about this though, I'm told if they are looked after properly then a rebuild would only be necessary every two seasons - mileage dependant.
