My 6 is getting a treat once I can get everything below fitted.

I have in my sticky MIT's or already have just Already Done the following.

New OE strut top mounts and bearings DONE
New bottom ball joints DONE
New droplinks DONE
New trackrod ends DONE
New tierods DONE
New Powerflex lower arm Purple P Bushes and front Purple front bushes DONE
New OE rear beam mounts DONE
New Gaz Gold rear shock bushes DONE
New OE oil filter with Castrol Magnex 5W 30 Fully Synthetic DONE
New Iridium spark plugs DONE
New OE spec gearbox oil DONE
Just had a complete overhaul of rear caliper sliders, handbrake mechanism all greased up, piston all cleaned and free moving etc. DONE
Overhaul and inspection of my front Tarox 6 pots with new 310mm rotors and Yellowstuff pads. DONE

The 6 will think Christmas has come early and should be tight like a tight thing with a reason to be tight suspension wise lol !

Don't think I've missed anything though? Not doing the ARB bushes as they were done only a year ago. Apart from the odd droplinks done in the past two years nothing else has been changed or needed changing in the last 5 or so years.

Just thought fcuk it, give it a complete overhaul while i can and have some spare cash flow, and will be sweeeeeet Love

Similar to what I just had done on mine. Although you've got a few extras too. You getting it tracked up? My guess is it'll be out now.

How did yours feel afterwards ? Please tell me it felt better lol !

Not getting tracked yet though, but do have a pair of Cobra Imola Pros, OMP 4 points and OMP wheel to get fitted at some point.

The suspension felt tired and a little loose so thought fcuk it, its getting a treat to tighten it all back up and changing nearly every bush and joint should do the trick.

I think he means getting the tracking (wheel alignment) done after fitting all the new bits, as the camber/toe will need resetting to factory specs for optimal handling.

Awww right, would be getting the wheels tracked/alinged as a matter of course anyways changing all that.

I think hopefully the best transformation will be the changing of the lower arm bushes as it was over 5 or 6 years ago they were changed.

All done, fitted and tracked etc.

My god the new levels of grip are above and beyond what ive been used to in a long time. No more slopping about in turns or squirming under braking. Everything is straight and true with so much more feedback coming through the steering wheel.

It feels so much more refined now and enjoying her so much more now than ever.

All in all im glad i just did everything while i could.

I've seen a few articles lately describing lowering, styling mods etc as "subtle" when only Stevie Wonder would think so - they are usually about as subtle as Jordan's boobs. One was some massively chavved-up "subtle" 206 with a GTI6 engine in PFC.

Tops of the rear tyres are just under the rear arches and the front is only about 30mm so sits nicely at the front to match the rears. Im not a big fan of bouncing it off the rear bumpstops and so low at the front that even a standard 6 splitter scrapes the roadThumbs down
