So....
I'm thinking about a new project once my extension is finished on my house and would love to build a thunder saloon 309!

Iv not done much research into them but I take it the panels are not available off the shelf and never have been?
Iv read that fast car magazine made one once but again not a lot of information at all!

Does anyone have any useful information?

Not a lot to finish..... Plus I said once the extension is done so probably another year yet but planning and finding out info is key to a good build

And I would keep the dimma

I think that fast car article was in 2 or 3 parts, the one i have explains how they mounted the suspension to the engine block and widening the already wide front wings. Yeah suspension and brakes were from a Group C racer, Tiga i think.
Wonder where that car is today?.

The Orange one is owned by one of my mates at work mate that lives in Cambridge, apparently the car was for sale a few weeks back as a rolling shell as the yb engine was being kept and used in his Ford rsr.... My mate at work is talking to James (the owner of the Orange one) to see if he sold it and if not how much he will sell it to me for
