hi guys

Looking to replace the top mount bearings want new cups aswell any idea where to get febi cups if they do them or indeed any one else

And also with regards to the front suspension is it suitable to fit lowering springs on standard shocks what will it do to the shocks if anything
Need to know incase i want to switch back

My Rallye is running -40mm springs on what appears to be std shocks. Handles pretty well.

You may find over properly bumpy roads the shocks can't keep up with the springs and the ride gets a little crashy (have this issue with the daily Mondeo that's been dropped 50mm with a set of springs..) and ultimately may shorten the life of the shock but not noticeably so.

Any idea on cups guys where to get i presume they dont come with top kits

pug still do them i think,it's that or recondition yours (rub down and paint)

Yea mine really are fubar dont mind refurbing most things but when i pull of more crust than steel remaining time for a new set will check the pug price looking for perhaps febi version or alike or perhaps will aquire some second hand and refurb dont suppose you have any

Unfortunately thats the part number for the strut mount not the cup but cheers anyway fella

It's very unlikely that any third parties make these as they almost never need replacing.

It'll be Peugeot or nothing.
