Gutmann style grille, could be genuine, but regardless it is definitely an actual aftermarket grille rather than a homebrew effort. The mesh is held on with fibreglass or adhesive at the rear so could be removed and changed for a mesh of your choice. This would perhaps good for someone with a tuned derv who wants more airflow to various coolers that may be hidden behind panels on the front end. The paint is not great but then you'd be painting it whatever colour your car is anyway.
