Lots of stuff on here I would like but maintaining and slowly improving the 16 year old car that is my daily driver (24K miles a year) is a costly business.

Cam belt next month? Check. 4 new PS3's the month after, yep.

That and servicing, and all the niggles that need attention every month eat up the budget for goodies :-(

Yes ....I do forget sometimes Barry mines not used as a daily m8 ...more of a wk-end toy & smile maker LOL
Or should that say Bank draft breaker & Credit card max machine ?

On the plus side mine makes me smile every day!

Until I feel, hear or just imagine something that needs my hard earned spending on fixing or improving.

My car always feels the best on the first drive after some TLC Thumbs up

With the cars getting older people (like me) want to keep them standard thus not needs upgraded parts.

However in a few years I'm sure someone could twist my arm with a low boost set-up...

I feel this theory should be tested, for science of understanding the female gender.

I would love a lot of things on here but if spending unchecked on cars I could easily burn through 10k of parts and not feel like I had everything, so I try to limit my spending on the 306 as I doubt I'd have 10k worth of fun when I already enjoy driving it loads anyway, and 500 worth of suspension upgrades made me really happy all by itself.

I can only just divert enough cash to replacing the worn out parts on mine and that's the priority.
When that's all done, probably by next summer, then I can look at nice bits.
A slipper will be first on the list, to help with the planned hillclimbing....
