Quick one...

Whilst stripping out the carpets etc the other day a small rubber pipe that cant be more than 6 inches long, with a bend in it, literally fell off in my hand - it runs from under the dash into a small metal outlet on the left not far from the dash mounting bolt - its buggered - do i need it?
