As per the question really......were or werent they? Some say they did, some say they didn't...

Dragged mine out last night and gave it a bloody good wash down(been sat on the drive for three months while I've been doing the underside), covered in contamination etc....

All nice and clean now so attacked it with my machine polisher. Certainly corrected the swirling but left no red on the polishing pad, suggesting it does have a clear coat. I know the car haa had paint in places but the bootlid (the bit I did) appears to be original paint....

Thoughts?

Some skirts are, others not. Car otherwise was.

Agree with above. Mine is clear coated with the exception of the skirts and the nasty bonnet respray that still needs sorting.
