Does anywhere do a lightened and balanced flywheel for the v6? or can anybody recommend a decent place to get my original one done? got a spare so it's no problem to send it off Yes

Its in a 406 saloon and staying put this time Big grin

I love the 406 so decided to get it back on the road and do a few bits to it, it's the later es9j4s.

Just put a bmc cda on today, a larger one than standard, from a 3.2 audi tt.

Next I'm fitting the es9j4 mexhaust manifolds to get rid of the pre cats and making a decat to get rid of the rear cats, so that's 4 cats in the bin ;-).

Will be looking to get some repro filed cams too and then a remap.

I think you can take an easy 2 kilos off the D8 flywheel, Ask AdamB Smile

the J4S has a DMF though, so you'd need to swap the flywheel and clutch kit to the earlier one.

A local guy did mine and I think it was 2kg. Was still 10mm thick all the way through!
