Right replaced my beam last weekend, lost fluid while changing calipers ect. I've bleed the system 3/4 times now and when the engines off brakes feel perfect just like before. But soon as I start the engine goes instantly spongy. I've bleed it the old fashioned way and with a easy bleed kit both ways no air coming from any bleed nipples. I read on here about air trapped in the abs so took it to a gravel Carpark gave the brakes a good mash to get the abs working. Still no air coming out from nipples if I bleed it just nice clean fluid. So I'm stumped gonna take it to my garage I go too see if they can sort it, but thought best check with you guys as someone may have a solution for me.

Thanks in advance
Sonny

Maybe it just needs bedding in after reffiting the pads/new pads eg how many miles have you done?

Prob around 10 miles I haven't been out since I tried bleeding it again with the same result. Didn't want to chance brakes not working. I only changed the beam so I've still got same pads, calipers ect.

you need to bleed it with the load compensator open not with the wheels dangling.

So weight up the back and bleed them? Car is fully striped and lowered but I did chop off a coil on the compensator?

Forgot to say that when the engines running and I press the brake down, I can hear air leaking sort of noise?
