As some of you are aware I turned the key on the summa yesterday, I'm not getting the battery light on the dash when I turn the ignition on.
Iv swapped the bulb for a known working one but still nothing, what's next to check?

I have 3 spare wiper motors and they all have the same fault, first setting on the stalk (auto wipe) nothing happens, second setting it works (slow speed) third setting does nothing! The rain sensitive sensor is plugged in.... What's likely to be at fault?

Tried another stalk and still the same fault Sad

On the alternator should the little wire be on its own on the top connector and the two large ones together on the lower connector?

Can I if possible get rid of the auto wipe and just have intermittent, slow and fast? I have that style of stalk but just tried it and it's the same fault as before, would I have to disconnect the rain sensitive sensor?

Little wire on the starter motor is separate to the big live wires. Little wire shouldnt fit on with the big ones

Does the light on the rain sensor come on when you put the stalk into the auto position?

I've had battery light not work with a blown fuse before but was years ago so couldn't say which one.... You said the hazards come on? I've had 2 cars in recently where they won't start and the hazards come on as soon as you switch the ignition on...

Turned out to be broken coil springs which as went bang they set off the fuel cut off switch lol.

I'd swap over all the green and purple relays and see if the same faults are there. If something else becomes faulty you know it's a relay if not then wiring or fuse

I don't think the fuel cut off switch works anymore on the aftermarket managment.
I don't think mine does anyway, although ideally for safety reasons it should.
Only reason I say this is I have unplugged mine before and the car still started with it unplugged???

On the standard look, the red switch just cuts the live to the relay which in turn cuts the Ecu and fuel pump. It really depends how it's all wired up. Mine, I've kept this switch so it will cut out in an accident but it depends how the looms been wired.

If its using the standard loom but just using an adaptor loom to the DTA, It will still be using the switch unless its been wired out of the loom but i don't see why anyone would choose to do that.
