Seeing as the General section is a free for all these days, where is the best place to get tyres delivered from. Is it still Blackcircles.com?

When getting my PS3s i found Costco the cheapset. Not what you asked but in case you're getting PS3's (and have a costco account). Other than that Blackcircles is always my first stop. Surprisingly i sometimes get a good deal at the Kwik Fit (i know i know!) near me.

Blackcircles for me. Unless it's a track tyre, in which case I'll get it from wherever is cheapest.

I got my last set of PS3's for the Clio from these:

http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/

They were the best price at the time so worth a try maybe?

Got my ps3s from place in germany. They had a shop on ebay uk and germany and they worked out £380 delivered from germany. Cant think of there name. Knocked backcircle and others out the water!
That was some time ago so prob cheaper now as everywhere at the time was 126 per tyre i think mine worked out 80 per tyre about a year ago or so

They were 17in mind

Thanks a lot guys. The tyres are for my BMW and I want to keep them the same as it handles really well on what it's got now.

I'm looking for 2 x Bridgestone Potenza's S001, 225/45 R18 91 W Runflats for BMW?

Went to ATS today to get a price on our company account and they wanted over £600 after discount for two which is a complete joke. It was beyond funny seeing as Blackcircles wanted £300 for two.

best I could do on those is £330 for a pair - worth a shot!!

I buy job lots of old stock tyres direct from a bmw warehouse in Switzerland- over there they wont fit a tyre if its 12 months old so they dispose of them! did have some of these recently and at the price I get them for I can sell them cheaper than anyone. Its predominantly runflats as all bmw's seem to run these for some stupid reason, but always worth an ask if you need anything else!

Stock changes all the time and I never quite know whats coming.

Thanks a lot anyway mate, like you said it's worth a shot. If you do get some in over the next month then maybe try me then?

Thanks a lot to the rest of you too, I'll be searching through the sites later that you've all recommended. And Mossy, I agree these tyres are really good especially on the BMW.

why runflats? every forum I've seen mention of runflats is where people bin them for a standard tyre and wonder at the better ride and handling

+1, the difference is extremely noticeable. Just buy one of those compressor / tyre filler kits.

I have no issue with them at all, I find them brilliant so I'm sticking with them.

They make the Turanza in 15" but there not as good! in my personal opinion i'd use uniroyal rain expert 3's, totally undervalued tyre that is both grippy as hell and not overly expensive. had a set of 4 ready to go on my 6 when its sorted but stupidly sold them yesterday! shes a few weeks off yet so will be ordering more shortly!!

With all due respect guys I'm not looking to start debating on tyres. I know tyre preference can be really subjective and work better on some cars than others and suit certain driving styles more than others so let's just say I'm more than happy with the Bridgestones and they work well for me on my car so I'm sticking with them Thumbs up

I recommend openeo.com but am sure I've got at least two of the exact tyres your looking for which I got new less than 50 miles before I upgraded to 19" wheels on my 335i. I've also got spare MV2 wheels and snow tyres. Pm me your number.

Bridgestone - in my opinion, make the best tyres at present. runflats are a subjective evil- they work but weigh twice as much and cost loads more! yet one of my customers had a puncture in Paris on a Sunday night and made it back to me on the same tyre, so they obviously work!!!

One day, Maybe, I'll be able to buy a car new enough to try them!
