For the life of me I can't remember the sequence. Found this but it shows 18 bolts and I don't want to chance it.

Am I right in saying that this is the number order and I should undo them from 10 to 1

18=10
17=9
16=8
15=7
10=6
9=5
8=4
7=3
2=2
1=1

ignore the picture.

doesn't matter what order you undo them in.

I've always undone them in sequence as you've said, some people say you don't need to but others say you do with alloy heads so I don't see the point in not doing it tbh.

Main thing is loosen them in stages and make sure the head is cold I've always been told.

You can warp a head by undoing the middle bolts first should always be undone from outside to inside. Reverse of fitting order.
