Guys,

I know there appear to be 2 sizes of hub, relating to the ball joints.

Other than phase, is there anything else that defines which car has which? From everything I've read, only the phase 3 has the 18mm versions. Id assume that my Rallye has the 16mm hubs?

Thanks Dan. Assume the ABS sensors are just as much a PITA to remove as the rears?

Mine broke when I took them out, so I'd expect them to break for you as well! Smile

Once you've got the driveshaft out give the ABS sensors a good soak with WD40 or similar (on both sides) and then tap them out from the inside.

Thanks Rich. Does that method damage them?

Shouldn't do.

Best way I've found is to use a socket just big enough for the protruding part of the sensor to sit inside it but still sits on top of the sensor body.

Then just pop in an extension bar and tap out with a hammer.

Makes sense.

Cool, thanks bud. Looking for another set of hubs to clean up. first thing they'll get is a Deox C bath, hence the need to remove the sensors...
