Finally got some time to day yo do some of the crappy jobs on the rallye today! Had to pull the facia off as some previous owner must have been f**king of with the heater controls and some of the cables were off the back so i couldnt change the blowers or the temperature. Had a right chow on getting the cables back where the go but i got there in the end with a s**t load of cuts and scratches on my hands. Also changed all the bulbs while i had it to bits as they didnt work either.
Been on all week sorting a mates diablo GTi6 out to sell but all is well and sold it wednesday.

Little update. Went to fit a decat and noticed someone had welded the down pipe to the middle section and also welded a different cat in. Cut the cat out and the bore into the car was only 2" so will have been restricting the flow loads. Now i have sleeved the down pipe to the right size and welded it back up. Now the car runs and sounds a load better Smile

Well my crystals finaly turned up saturday so gave me something to do masking them up and fitting them. Today i got rid of the ABS. 1 thing i dont like is ABS its just pointless and more weight Sad so just done a quick bend the standard brake pipes and fit them into the T piece till i can be bothered to make up some new like. I do have a set of braided front lines from the master cylinder to the flexis but dont know if i want to use them or just make up all new copped lines.
Picked up a set of 45mm eibach lowering springs yesterday so will get them fitted this week along with lowering the rear axle.

Well fitted my eibach springs today what i thought were 40mm lower than standard but turned out to be no different at all. Also found why my steering feels a bit loose, ball joint hole in the hub if f**ked along with the ball joint. Think i will be looking for a set of coilovers and hubs soon since im not happy with the eibachs

This is the ride hight before i put the springs in. Will have to get a photo of it tomorrow with the eibachs in.
