Talk to me boys.

About ready to pull out the beam and the tank.

I've got access to the filler pipe on the drivers side rear arch, ive managed to free off the rusted clips holding the elbow.

Can see the bolts for the tank strap, what else do I need to know?

Thanks

don't forget to unplug the wiring and pipes before dropping it.

Push the retaining tabs in with a screwdriver or similar whilst sliding them off.

Ok, got the car up in the air on axle stands..

Looking at taking the fuel tank out. In the pic, I've disconnected the fuel line from the filter, that was easy enough, just push the white tab. How do I undo the other two? Is that elbow a joint I can undo?

Also need to remove the fuel filler pipe from the arch. Easy enough to disconnect at the tank end, but how do i undo this little bugger? Doesn't want come off, have a feeling it's something to do with the yellow bit....

Right, got the filler neck out and disconnected, that's fine...

How the Hell do you undo these connections with the green plastic?
These are the only things stopping me having the fuel tank out, there's this one by the fuel filer and another on the connections on top of the pump. Two cups of tea and much head scratching later, I'm still none the wiser...

You have to press the 2 green tabs surrounded by the black part with a screwdriver and pull
