Depends on your cam advance. Mine is happier on at least 97 octane, uses less fuel

BTW if you're leaving your car a while, the V Power apparently goes off or loses is Power?! Can't confirm as i only did Higher Chemistry and that was a long long time ago Smile

Hmm. All petrol does detoriorate.

I've used premium fuels before and noticed zero difference in all 3 gti6s I've owned, mine's perfectly happy with 95.
