Looking to get a Complete engine that I can use as a Base for building a good runner using cams etc. Going to be building it up slowly as and when I can afford parts so basically anyone selling one let know. I would obviously prefer one local so I could pick it up as most people wouldn't offer a delivery option I'm sure

Cheers

I have looked at your for sale thread a few times actually but I know so little about doing the conversion ie nothing at all, it put me off tbh. There doesn't seem many about so I assume info on it will be scarce

I have a complete engine with everything on it, came from a 2003 xsara with 65k on it,have been saving it but will let it go for £350.

Basically it's a fit and forget engine so to speak.

with everything supplied there is actually little to do other then weld the strut engine mount on which is easy enough and when engines out modify the firewall ie make hole for hydralic master cylinder. I can supply details and pics of what needs doing.

Obviously exhaust and subframe and everythink else ie loom will all be supplied only thing i aint got is the radiator.

What power do these units put out? Does it run with the same ecu I've currently got? Can I stil fit my b8 set up and normal steering set up etc with this? I'm just wondering how it handles with having a much bigger lump.up front?
