I got fined in the town centre car park near me when they fitted the new auto anpr system, you basically get 15 mins to get a ticket or drive out other end. I got fined for not getting a ticket but I was waiting in the car for the wife, I didn't drive into a space as it was busy and I thougjt id leave a space for somebody that needed it, I didn't I was just waiting in car, so I got fined for been nice and saving space for somebody that needed it.There is a jacket potatoe van in the car park, he's been there many years, people used to go from miles for a potatoe, till they all started getting fined for it. It's a joke, before they had 1 man patrolling the car park all day and giving tickets to those that hadnt payed or returned, that system worked perfect, if you was waiting in car he didn't bother you, if you was getting a spud he didn't bother you, if u didn't have any change on you, you could tell him you'd be nipping for change eg Now that mans lost his job and automated systems are sending out fines, I would of appealed but I was using a freinds car at time  so just payed the discounted rate within 14 days.________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |
