It should be peace of cake, after removing the wheel arch cover,
there is only 2 10mm bolts that secure it to the body to be free,
but it turned out to be nightmare,
i've loosen the bolts completely but it won't came off.
there is no access to the other side, it's double sheet metal that the ABS unit is located just above it,
anyone experienced this kind of french resistance ?

its not double thickness if it is under the abs pump.

are the nuts off and the pluf? just get a big screwdriver under it.

I meant it's on the same axis, there is some space between them,
but some mechanic told me that there is nuts on the other side, which i don't understand/believe
if so, it's only good for one dismantling, even Citroen engineers couldn't be so dumb,

anyway, i wanted to salvage this unit for the ZX reflex, but it turned out to be different unit part numbers,
so i gave up this rout, and just buy a used one,
the reflex is much more sensible design and easier procedure since it uses nuts on the open side instead of bolts

that sounds weird, sure its the bitron?

Mine is held on with 2 (i thought 8mm) nuts on inch long thread - there isnt anything else holding there, but there is a metal colar thing in each wing of the bitron body, could just be stuck/corroded on?

The bolts turns freely in my fingers but refused to come off,
i even grabbed it with vise grip pliers, i attached the second to the first in 90 degree so i could
strike it with a hammer, but it still refused to come off.

yes, i'm sure it's Bitron that is the part for the reflex :
9622150680 / CCTC6 / BVM2
and it's used in 106, 605,406, saxo, xantia, evasion too
