Hi All,

First, big hello to everyone as a new member..
I've just got my dream car, a Rallye..ohh dear how long I was waiting for this.. LOL Probably the car has been before registered here before, a T reg cherry red wonder..

I know, its quite hard to recommend a good, reliable, friendle etc mechanic, but I'm really dont know where to start..I'm living in the UK for 3 years now and I do not really have experience with English garages..
Im living in Stapleton area, would be great someone from this side of the city but I'm also quite flexible..

anyway the car its in quite good order, really looked after, but some stuff needs to be sorted out obviously also I want a basic check as well..

cheers,

not because Im not willing to travel, anywhere really with this car, but I really hope I can find someone local..

anyway not really sure but I think the driveshaft need some attention..there is a quite loud knock (only one) coming from the near front side when pushing the accelerator a bit harder or break not that gently..
also really would like a general check as well, mot is coming in a few month..

Probably engine mount rather than shaft, they don't tend to do shafts...

I bet so too. When i had a shaft go it was incredibly obvious.
Mounts however will be like brie by now if original

That was the other idea as driveshaft starting be noise while you turn and later when going straight aswell..
The bottom mount has been changed in the past (approx 2years ago)..

Is there a visual sign on the top one if its dead?

The reg is T191KCK..

Yep, typical top engine mount breakage symptoms all day - will need a proper repair to be reliable.
