Hi I have a 306 gti 6 iv just replaced the thermostat because I thought it was stuck open I have had problems with cutting out wen hot like 90degs. And stutters sometimes wen gunning it. Also my heating seems to be luke warm not hot. Iv bleed the system all three bleed points. I dont seem to be getting much pressure in the top rad hose. I cant c it being the head gasket as I dont loose any water plus there is no water in the oil.cars runs around 78 degs at 30 to 80 mph. Thermostat works fine opens at 83 deg. Any help welcome |

Probably needs a new matrix or at least it flushing out.stuttering could be a number of sensors on the engine. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Its running through ok and both pipes are hot coming out where the thermostat is. The bleed screw top left bulk head flows out out no probs. Just dont know why theres not a lot of pressure in the top rad hose. Normally hard to squeeze once up to temp but its got hardly any pressure at all |

Could it be the air direction part in the heater box area behind the dash? Not sending air through the matrix to heat it up.________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Other than that the flap as said above, is there anyway to see it moving without removing dash? ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

Yeah I think it maybe the flap was playing around with it on way to work every time I turned it to cold then hot again it would get hot then next time it would go cold or luke warm so might be possibly sticking a bit |

Might be a sensor in the dash itself, also the little fan/ temp sensor in the roof by the light might need a clean as it can clog up with dust ect and get a false reading....It could be a number of things though, we all know what these cars are like. How much antifreeze have you put in? Is it the right stuff ect ect Good luck. |
