Every few days I stick 306 gti into auto trader/ebay etc. partly because I keep hoping my old black 6 w389nam will come up so I can buy it back and partly to see if anything tasty turns up I could gut to use bits for the Rallye haha.

Anyway checked it Sunday, 2 one there. Checked just now there's more than a dozen! Wtf happened!! Did I miss a watchdog that says all the gti 6s will spontaneously burst into flames at Janurary 2015?

w389nam doesn't come up on dvla's tax check at all, so its either got a private plate or its long been scrapped.

Yeah I checked the dvla just says it can't find it. That means it's been scrapped? Only had it 3 years ago... God I miss that car

I think he got his reg wrong, W389 NAM has always been registered to the honda since new :-) W329NAM is a black GTi6 :-)

Ha think it was w329! All the pics I have left I've blanked the Reg out so I couldn't remember!

Suffolk? Nah sold to a lad down the road but I know he sold it about a month later as I saw it back on eBay. God knows why coz it was running sweet when I sold it. Almost bought it back for less money haha.

Omg I'm so pleased! It's gone through sum changes since I had her! What's her mileage now? Did you buy it from a guy near Grantham? If so it was the guy I sold it to.

Is that the same all red 106 badge I put on it? And I painted those calipers red! Rest looked standard when I had it tho. It still on eibach and bilsteins?

She's on 150 now lol I brought it off a friend of mine from southam n it had a standard badge on when I got it but it's still on the eiback and bilsteins, got rid of the magnex and put a piper with magnex decat on it, also put a k&n induction kit on, and 15" sparco RTT'S put xenons in, I've done a lot to her tbf new clutch, radatior, steering rack, wishbones, handbrake cables, clutch cable, I've got abit more power out of her since I've had it, it still runs perfectly

You may also come across a thread from rat-look.com where the car is with the guy I bought it off in 2009/10. It made 169bhp on the mods I had, what's it making now? It had a clock change mate which you'll see in the history if it's all still with it. So it's more like 160-170k !!
