the interwebs says that alloys are lighter.

is that the case between steel rims and 306 cyclones? i havnt got a steel to compare but i cant hep feelign that cyclones weigh more than steels.

anyone able to weigh each out for me. see if im off scrap hunting this weekend?

306 steels weigh about the same as a cyclone.

Many later psa vehicles have particularly light steels, 307 and c3-4 have a 6x15 thats about 5.5kg! Unfortunately theyre et27 or so

yes, 4.7kg, however not that strong and quite sought after, not easy to find these days either especially at a decent price.

C5 steels would be nice but I'd be worried about turning them into 20p shapes especially after spending loads of money on them.

FYI most kwik fits can balance them but be careful they don't scuff up your wheels.
