Ok I'm basically dechavving this 6 and I'm having a mare removing a battery to boot kit. It's bodge central and I'm nearly there, please can someone just have a look at their battery and tell me where the wires go direct from each terminal?

I have one that goes to the alt and starter (positive) and one earth. Is that it? Does it go to a fusible link before the starter and alt? The bloody wires are all black and it's getting dark. I could do with having it finished tonight.

I'll post a progress thread because you will not believe what I've pulled out of this car today.

You can see the 3 positive wire near that square black thing 1 disappears into the engine bay to the starter motor and I presume the alternator, the other 2 head into that relay box thing on the right of the picture. I think my loom is phase 1 so it might be different
