Been searching like a bas**rd......Dunno

Other than Chieftons which was in Guildford (and I think now sold?), are all the red Rallye's in Scotland???? I must have found either via this place or eBay or google a dozen, if not more, red Rallye's in Scotland........

Are they really that rare? 13 days time ill have the money I need to buy one, yet I doubt there will be one to buy!

ask orta... he saw it in the flesh and chased him for a few miles... pm me an email address and I will introduce you. its had from memory full belts and waterpump brand new discs pads all round the rear beam done a nearly new magnex and is very tidy after a full paint restore detail. kerry is very particular about his cars and his 205 gti is due on the road after 3 years so the rallye is for sale. I think hes looking for £2-2.3 k ish for it but that's his decision.

cant tempt you with a beautiful white then ?? lol.

Wales is closer than Scotland mate and I can assure you Kerry's red one was absolutely mint. No fade at all that I eye and still had standard interior!

Interesting to know Chief....

Tony, to which one are you referring, S529OAN?

If so, what was wrong with the engine?

I got the engine of cr spares not the best just fitted it am sold the car as I needed the cash an had 2 rallyes. It was tapping like a b**ch but so possible bent valves. I'm sure the guy I sold it too had far more car knowledge than myself an got it all sorted

Tony. Personally i think what youve jsut done there is a c**ty thing to do. to sell a car you fitted a not good engine as you needed the money and sold the car on knowing its fuked. Admittedly youve sold it at a knock down by the sounds of it to a suspected other crook in gloucestershire??? kerry bought the car last november I beleive and can tell you that the car had a fuked water pump and tensioner and a cambelt fitted by a numpty. ( bloke in leicester do it??)

The car has been compression tested and had a full servicewith all belts tensioner and runs as sweet as a nut with no oil leaks rattles or squeaks. To publically put out a named car as f**ked that you sat on for 12 months ( I know I nearly bought it that you couldnt make your mind up so I bought another bianca one instead).

I wouldnt take any trips to mid wales if i were you unless you release who bought it of you and what he did to iit for Kerry to pay 2k for it last year and hasd now spent over a 100 man hours on the ramp at his work refeurbing most of it. It is a very different car from the one you desrcibed now and in result of your publication of your own admission it was a s**tter you've made kerry look a c**t to. Which he is not. ( i am just ask carl)

Ben i suggest you have a look at it and maybe do a compression test to prove it but to be honest its most likely the only reason kerry needs to keep hold of it as he would never sell a s**tter as a decent car unlike the person i suspect in gloucester. ( just to underline) the waterpump was pretty much seized when he got it home ( 60 miles from glozza) so that person sold it as a good rallye, and now its an excellent one.

Andy,

Ibe every intention of going to have a look at it as soon as I can get....been talking to Kerry and have explained I'm a bit busy for the next couple of weekends etc...but Deffo interested.

There is no suggestion Kerry knew any of this history, nor has he been made to look a c**t in my eyes. I'll take a car as I find it, and whilst it's interesting to know it's history, it's what's in front of me when I see it I'm bothered about.

Tony, I don't think there needs to be much more said on this on this thread. Perhaps you'd be good enough to pm with with a few more details about the car, when you had it etc and who you sold it to please?
