Since changing my oil from standard to fuchs titan pro s last week, the car seems to get hot very quickly. Even driving round town the temp is over 90 where as its normally sits at 75 to 80. Keep having to put my fans on to bring it back down.

I know the fans kick in when its at the right temp but its only been doing since the change.
At stand still when I used to turn the fans on. The temp would drop to 70 with in a minute. Now even with the fans on it stays on 90.

Only when I give it some loud pedal does it seem to start to cool down.

Water pump maybe?
Hope not as its a genuine pug unit at 7k old.

Also changed the plugs from bkr6eix tm bkr7eix.

Any ideas?

Also don't run an oil cooler, never have done and even going up Prescott hill it never got above 90.

Oh and yes it has plenty of water and anti freeze in it.

Also currently using a heater matrix bypass pipe.
