G'day guys,

Has anyone here had experience running a PACE products dry sump system on a XU10J4RS?

Do you remove or retain the internal oil pump?

I am building a 6 for circuit racing (Improved Production) here in Melbourne, Australia.

I've gone the full 9 yards with lightened crank and flywheel from France, big lift & duration cams (14.7/326), 50mm AT throttles etc - at the high revs I'm chasing I'd like to keep my OP in check.

Cheers,
Cal

I dont know about the specific brands of which you speak, but I know "rallyeash" is running a dry sump.

Give him a message and see if he can help advise what's best Wink

By the way, Welcome to the club Thumbs up

A pace set up uses a scavenge pump so you ditch the internal pump on the engine

Ash is running a pace setup, he's in thailand for 3 weeks so doubt you will get any response for a while. Take a look at his 205 build thread as theres a bit of info on there reference to it.

interested to see if the 50mm AT's perform, the others don't from what I have seen so far, guess you're aiming for 300+ if you've gone that big.

Go direct to pace for the kit. It removes the standard pump altogether and utilises a 3 stage pump (twin scavenge and a single high pressure).

If you're definately after a Pace kit then drop me a PM, I know a man who might be able to help at considerably less than Pace's prices! I've got a Pace kit but not fitted it yet, straight forward enough to do though, only problem I've got is where to put the tank!

And is that 14.7mm lift cams?!

Hi i am running a Pace system on my rallycross car and it might be getting broken for spares as i have changed class and now in a swift....

All you do is remove the engine oil pump and chain but leave the sprocket on and blank the oil return from the filter housing then you feed the engine from the scavenger pump directly into the inlet of the oil filter with an adaptor plate that is supplied as part of the kit.

Let me know if you need any pictures or more detail but my system is for sale for £1200 ??
