Hi All,

I've been toying with the idea recently of selling my car...

As most of you know, it doesn't get used and remains tucked up in my garage - under cover.

I'm just after opinions really on how much you guys think it is realistically worth and whether there is actually any genuine interest? I have a figure in my head, but would like to know what you think.

Most of you already know the specs and the things which have been done to it, and a lot of you would have had a nose around it at Pugfest/FCS in the past.
It's currently sat on 66k, although the current power plant has covered 12k.

Cheers,

Stan.

I'd love to have it. But I suspect the figure you would like would be in excess of £10k, which is fair enough considering the money spent and condition. What people will pay? I couldn't say.

Its not like I need to remind you that you poured time, money and love into this car, and that you shouldn't part with it lightly, or for any less money than acceptable.

Still, GLWTS Thumbs up

There isn't a 'Gauging Interest' section Carl...

Besides, there is more at stake here than just how much is it worth? The question is, would there actually be any takers? Unsure

in the first post where you have asked how much is it realisticly worth.... Kinda tells me that this should be in the "what's it worth section"
I paid £7500 for Rich w's car which in addition to yours had 4 pot ap brake set up and a negative camber beam, that will give you a rough idea what yours is worth!
I would like to think my dimma is worth £15k after iv chucked well over 20k into building it but it's a buyers market and is anyone as mental as me going to spend that much on an old pug even though it's had a full on restoration with lots of one off mods and parts??

Unlikely, it gets moved every weekend and the brakes used etc, engine turned by hand. I do this to stop it needing such work.

I'd buy it, but I know you will value the car much higher than is realistically achievable.

Stan realistically the figure you'd have to accept for a sale is 6-7k even though it's worth more to you than that, sadly keeping it in you're garage ornament is probably less painful for you than selling it at such a loss?

Whats the figure in your head Stan?

Its very difficult to put a price on it because a car like this is worth what someone will pay for it and what you would sell it for.

What I meant by that is when you spend that much on a car that's worth so little is it worth selling for the pittance that you'll get, or just store it and keep it if you don't need the £!

To be honest I would sell it Stan at least you will get your garage space back as well , your not useing it so I would get rid and move on with life as you know you never get back what you put in I would value it at 7-8k but will you get that ? Thats the problem how desprate or you just want how much you want to move on
