Just waiting on me new oil cooler and hoses :-) should be her tomorrow

Just started to tidy inside of up car up today

Got the rear heat shield cover re done














I'm after a decent battery cover needs be pretty mint , I have one but looks awful drop me pm if anyone has one :-)

Oh, and it looks like your throttle cable needs to go through that bung on the bracket of the inlet?

I'm not going threw that bung , just need to move the bung to the back one :-)

Get some heatshrink, cut it off and resolder it with heatshrink.

What bit we meaning the ralay has spade connectors



Only solder joint is on the main 12v from battery , before the fuse

Is it really worth it on one joint ?

I think he means the one with the tape around, the red to black wire, that's what I spotted anyway.

My mocal oil cooler and oil rad turned up today , got these fitted :-)









Got couples videos of it running tonight will get some better ones Friday once its back on its wheels





Glad my silicone hose ain't getting sucked in no more , has about inch gap

Could you not put the cooler the correct way up? Makes life easier when it comes to oil changes etc without having to take the bumper off each time

?? Don't get that, do you mean to drain the oil cooler at oil changes without having to undo the pipes from the cooler?
Do you mean so it flows back down the pipes to oil filter housing?
Is the pipes not going uphill anyway?

If the cooler is upside down you "should" take it off and have it with the unions at the top or you will get air trapped

Really? I'm sure Mine was fitted with the unions at the bottom, surely the oil pressure will push the air out won't it?
