CG Motorsport Duel Friction Clutch

Well I've gone for the cg Motorsport duel friction clutch kit , these are pretty new on the market thought would give them a go , this kit is around £250

The CG Motorsport Dual Friction clutch kit was designed for powerful, tuned performance cars. However with one side of the clutch plate in a organic formation and the other side in paddle this kit allows for a 40% increase in standard power. While still giving a standard drive feel. We believe this is the only kit out there like it on the UK market and its perfect for anyone who wants to access big power but does not want the race feel of a paddle clutch kit.

Comes with 12 months warranty , I have nothing to loose , let's see how I get on with it :-)

Key Features

Allows an increase in stock torque up to 40%.
Daily Drive feel and an extended life with the ceramic material.
A Exclusive and high performance pressure plate to allow for greater power.
Will allow for aggressive driving and gear changes.
Perfect for remapped daily drive vehicles.
Non slipping clutch.
The clutch of choice for those who do not want a paddle clutch.
All CG Motorsport Covers come with a grooved curved slotted design, allowing a vast reduction in surface heat meaning a extra 7-8% of power can go through the transmission.

Your going high boost though which is at the top end of what people get 150% up on standard power. Does the 12 month warranty cover you blowing it to smithereens with power?

its torque that kills clutches and standing starts. being supercharged clùtch should be ok as delivery of torque will be nice and linear. but with anything with cars you get wat u pay for. theres a reason why helixes are expensive.

Not if the internal vanes are facing the right way. If they are non-directional then yes you are right

Will that clutch fit? The release bearing is normally integral to the cover Unsure

Pete,

What ECU and injectors are you using? If your using our latest high-boost software which uses the Siemens Deka injectors, you only need a 3 BAR FPR.

Cheers
Rich

Hi rich , yea using the map and injectors that I picked up from you when I got the engine off you , sure? Thought it had to be 4 bar with high boost , will it do any harm or is it best to change back?
