Hi all...
me first post!

I will keep me head down as I dont own a '6 or a Rallye...but I do have a 306!! I'm mostly active on 306oc.

Anyway, I have a almost identical front axle weight as a '6 and thus base most of my suspension requirements on the '6 as my engine was not originally fitted to the '6.

Im currently on B4s and Eibachs -30mms.

I need to upgrade the B4s soon, and my preference is B6/B8s. Seem natural to be honest.

But the springs are too soft for my liking. But what is there out there that isnt nasty but would provide a similar ride height and be a little firmer?

thanks in advance Smile

I've got b8s & Eibachs upfront ....205 group N Tarmacs on rear with 21s & stnd anti roll bar ...
Used on Coombe at FCS ..
I wouldn't change anything !!!!....Amazing

I'm sure anyone that saw me would agree on how the car handled ....
Just need more power for the straights now ....Colin & Sandy maybe Thumbs up

Must admit do still use car on the road unlike some peoples cars I've been in & your fillings come loose LOL

I think it's about getting things both end matched !!!....Miles Runs similar to what I've got & it seems to be a great compromise Thumbs up ...

Can I ask why your debating these in favour if the spax setup you have for sale? As there adjustable damping you can make them nice and stiff if you want.

I found the b6/8 rears much to sloppy on standard 20mm gti bars and 21mm bars. Not really much better than standard but slightly better rebound.

Group A ones not B6 ones though. Had 21mm bars hybrid ARB and b6 rears with solid mounts and rear was sloppy as anything.

Currently got standard bars on a Jord rebuilt beam with GAZ Gold fully adjustable shocks and solid mounts. It's like a different car.

Fitting 24mm bars this week Cool see if they make a nice difference or make it to bouncy.

When i fitted my 23s, i found if your on a smooth road it was amazing to drive but on anything else, even small little bumps and pot holes, it was all over the place. If you hit a pothole mid corner, it would skip round the corner rather than drive. I got rid of mine for standard bars in the end as the roads round here just aren't that good.
