Hi all,I've finally decided to part with my beloved 306 GTi 6,it's taken me ages to make my mind up but I've not been using it so I think it's about time that someone on here could enjoy it. It's a reluctant sale but running 3 cars is becoming a drain on funds now that my partner has gone full time and needs a car.

I've owned the car for over 3 years now and I'm only the second owner. I brought it from a middle aged couple who had brought it from new and looked after it very well indeed,I have a comprehensive folder of receipts during their ownership. They actually spent just shy of a grand just before I brought it.

So here goes with the details.

1999/T reg with only 1 previous owner from new
88,000 miles with MOT,s to back up mileage,I've only done 8k in 3 years.
Just been MOT,d on Tuesday with no advisories at all.
No Tax,car currently sorn
Loads of service history and receipts from previous owner and myself,I have personally spent around 2-2.5k on modifications and maintenance.

Bodywork is immaculate Moonstone blue with only a couple of minor marks, the worst is on the rear bumper on the offside but mouthing that really bothered me.Has recently been clay barred and polished with Britemax vantage wax and detailed with Britemax spray and shine.Car is gleaming now.

Interior is mint with no tears at all on drivers bolster,in fact it has virtually no wear at all.Rear seats look brand new as does passenger seat.....very rare on a 6. Dash board is as new with no aftermarket screw holes etc....is as came out the factory.

Engine is very quiet, not a tapper, starts first time every time even when left for months and runs perfectly, pulls very well as it should do with the mileage.Uses pretty much no oil at all and after an oil change the oil stays golden for ages after.

Wheels have been powder coated black and are virtually mint, only a couple of marks on one wheel from the bloody tyre fitter!!

Since ownership I've done the following work to the car.....

Mods include....

Bilstein B8/B6 shocks
Roller bearing wishbone bushes with new lemforder droplinks, lower ball joints and track rod ends.
Eibach pro front lowered springs
Baker BM solid rear beam mounts
Ferodo DS 2500 pads with very good standard discs
Federal 595 RSR sticky tyres in 195/50 15
Uprated rear anti roll bar....car goes into tripod mode!!
Lowered torsion bars to match front
Gloss black cyclones
Fire extinguisher in passenger footwell
Oil breather kit
K&N replacement filter with modified air box
Original GTi 6 front splitter

Maybe more to list but can't think off hand, will edit if I remember

I've changed both engine and gearbox oil since I've had it too along with new plugs.
Recent new battery and aero wipers.

Car drives and handles amazingly,I've owned suburus in the past but this 6 is better by far IMO.

The gearbox is nice and smooth and is not notchy and there are no wines, crunches etc

Overall this car is a well modded and immaculate car for the year and has been maintained to a high standard throughout its life. It virtually needs nothing doing,if you were fussy I'd get the cam belt done, something I always do when I get a new car.....the belt was last changed at 65k so has some life in it yet.

It's not the cheapest 6 for sale but I think for the condition and mods it worth the asking price all day long,if you brought a standard 6 and modded it to my spec it would cost you a couple of grand easily so bear this in mind please.

I'm looking for £1700 or very near offer.

Please no test pilots or time wasters

Any info you need call Mark on 07903492771

Bear with me guys and I'll get the pics up,need to switch to my laptop and upload some pics to photobucket.

Sorry for the documentary but I like to write comprehensive and detailed ad.

Thanks for taking the time to read this Thumbs up
