Buy a sportsbike, they come as standard with throttle bodies. Plus the noise is awesome as your ears are only 1 foot away from them when you open them up. Cool

What's your head doing down there when your riding?

You've obviously never tucked in behind the screen on a sports bike Yes

No I passed my direct access bike test over 5 years ago but never riden since.
Still it's still got to be more Than 12 Inch away

Andy,

When you're tucked in as Allen says, your chin is only a couple of inches from the top of the tank.
Throttle bodies are approximately 10 inches below the top of the tank, in fact probably not even that much. No

Obviously you don't ride like that all the time, but if you're really going for it then you will be all tucked in, looking through the screen and be in this very position. Yes

Fine, it's not incredibly loud until you really open up the taps, but the intake noise is lovely, very similar to fitting throttle bodies to one of these cars. Yes

Except you are much nearer the business end. Laugh

Mines a super high boost on Omex but we stopped chasing any more power than 360BHP at the wheels as its more than enough power as it will spin in 1/2/3 with slicks on unfortunately i am selling or stripping my rallycross car and moving into the swift rallycross as i don't have the time to keep my car running as well as the daughters swift Junior car

But the C38 power is great and a bit scary......

I wouldn't say it's scary on a road car, but I'd imagine on loose stuff in a rally cross car it could be a handful. Yes

As for the bike - that's a whole different story. The power to weight is extraordinary - 185bhp/166kgs. Cool
