What spec tyres would I need for an 8" wide wheel as they are normally advertised as 250/640/18 or 25/64/18 instead of 225/40/18 like normal road legal tyres

640 is the height in mm. A 225/40/17 is 637.2mm if you work it out.

250 or 25 is the width same as normal tyres. It's easier in reality as they give you the height instead of an aspect ratio.

Porsche Cup N1 use 25/64-18 8j which is used on the front of the UK Porsche Cup cars and just happens to be an excellent size for Impreza, Evos, Cosworth, Skyline Etc.

Michelins if you can afford them.!!!
Or Dunlops would be my second choice ...

Road/ Track / wet tyres the best all round Mich /cup sport 2 ...
Just out ....crazy money though...best price Costco ...
Starting size 18s !!!

As fitted to new M3/M5 etc
Plus new Porshe Thumbs up
Only C rating in Wet ???
