the cam cover just unbolts using the top bolts, and if you don't ruin the seals you'll be fine. just make sure everything is clean like mating surfaces

Cool, Do i need to top it up with some other form of sealant?
And i think i read you do them up to about 8nm leave em for an hour or so and then go up to 10nm?

Try and do them all up evenly as well?

i tend to do stuff in a spiral working outwards but you can't really balls it up unless you're heavy handed and ruin the seals or they don't mate up right. the seals are part of the cam cover underneath so if they're good condition i'd just refit them and see what they're like

A thin bead of RTV sealent is a good shout. I just use it to the centre of the existing seal and then refit. If you've got a steady hand and use a thin bead you won't end up with a mess when you screw it down.

Just to add, I re-used my covers with oem seal and one leaked slightly. Removed all the oem sealant and put a c.3mm single bead of picture sealant on it, rested back in position for a few hours, finger tightened the bolts and left overnight, torqued them up the next day and it's been spot on so far.

Question. How the #### do you remove the bolt in the far left hand corner of the cover, theres a reserviour of some sort directly above it which doesnt seem to give ypu any room to fit a tool in thats sizeable enough
