had my gti6 back on monday after having a new ebgine fitted so washed it last night

noticed today that the passenger foot well & mat was damp and watter was seeping in from the vents on the driver side of the centre console & also by the clutch pedal

any ideas on what the problem could be?

Heater matrix or possibly scuttle panel foam ripped or torn, but most likely heater matrix, especially if the water is warm/steam and smells of coolant.

i kind of guessed but didn't really want it to be the case if im honest!!

if it was shot, would it still chuck out heat? sounds stupid i know but i have had to use the windscreen blowers on the last few frosty mornings and they have cleared the screen as usual
