I'm thinking about taking a look at a 306 hdi. It's just down the road and cheap. But obviously cheap for a reason

Has anyone come across an hdi that won't always start on the key
And if it does, will occasionally cut out then not start with the key again..? Will start with a push apparently, just not when cranking on the key.

Sounds a strange one and of its going to be something like the fuel pump I'd assume it's probably not worth picking up.

Any ideas to an easy fix are most welcome!

Most likely to be that then? If so, how much of an arse is it to fix? Does it make the car worth 250 quid or should it be left well alone?
