Im interested in this set up. Would this set up be fine on a 205 gti?? Im building a 220-230bhp gti-6 track car, and i assume im going to start running into fuel issues soon if i stay on the standard fuel pump.

I'd like for you to buy it but I don't think you really need unless you plan on doing some track work? Yes would fit on a 205 without any issues?

It is going to be fitted to my track car, i think i may of had some fuel issues in the past when cornering to but i never nailed it down to that being the fault. Any pics available??

you'll get starve on a 205 with a decent power 16V engine. especially under half a tank, the damage can also be more than just a bit of cutting out around a bend.
Lots of revs, air and sudden lack of fuel going in isn't ideal on an engine that's cost a few K

I will get some pics later when I pop home. I would imagine you did have some issues if you let you're tank get below 1/3rd of a tank. I know I did in my phase 1 gti6

Do you think its a worth while buy ash?? Im thinking it is as i have a reasonably well set up 205 and i dont want to break my new Engine when its done :-)

yes but appears to be sold!

my only negative thought with this swirl pot is that it has push on fittings that you need to jubilee clip on. Now not really an issue but when fitting a bosch pump, inline high flow filter etc which are all screw in -6 or -8 fittings then to have a swirl pot which has to use normal slide on pipe and jubilee clip fittings seems a bit daft to me?!

Id rather have all -6 or -8 screw in fittings on the whole system rather than a mix of both...?

Yes it was sold 2 minutes before I said I would take it. Owell I can look into them properly now and see what I want. I want an under boot floor set up though really. What swirl pot have you got??

That's what I don't like about it, it looks like a wonderful professional piece of work but then spoilt with the jubilee clips, I wonder if it could be modified to take the proper screw fittings without making it look like a bodge

I don't see why you would want to go to the effort. Just buy a -6 fitting swirl pot.
